چکیده
Abstract Background Some of the pathogenic effector proteins play an active role in stimulating plant defense system to strengthen resistance. Results In this study, ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC/Q-TOF-MS) was implemented identify altered metabolites transgenic rice containing over-expressed M. oryzae Systemic Defense Trigger 1 (MoSDT1) that infected at three-time points. The characterized dominating were organic acids and their derivatives, oxygen compounds, lipids, lipid-like molecules. Among identified metabolites, shikimate, galactinol, trehalose, D-mannose, linolenic acid, dopamine, tyramine, L-glutamine are precursors for synthesis many secondary Carbohydrate, as well amino acid metabolic, pathways revealed be involved responses resistance strengthening. Conclusion increasing salicylic (SA) jasmonic (JA) content enhanced interactions between JA synthesis/signaling gene, SA synthesis/receptor raffinose/fructose/sucrose synthase cell wall-related genes all contribute response rice. symptoms after infection significantly alleviated when treated with six i.e., galactol, L-glutamine, L-tryptophan, ?-terpinene, dopamine 72 h exogenously. Therefore, these could utilized optimal metabolic marker defense.

Purification and Characterization of a Novel Hypersensitive Response-Inducing Elicitor from Magnaporthe oryzae that Triggers Defense Response in Rice
BACKGROUND Magnaporthe oryzae, the rice blast fungus, might secrete certain proteins related to plant-fungal pathogen interactions. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS In this study, we report the purification, characterization, and gene cloning of a novel hypersensitive response-inducing protein elicitor (MoHrip1) secreted by M. oryzae. The protein fraction was purified and identified by de novo ...
متن کاملPseudomonas fluorescens WCS374r-induced systemic resistance in rice against Magnaporthe oryzae is based on pseudobactin-mediated priming for a salicylic acid-repressible multifaceted defense response.
Selected strains of nonpathogenic rhizobacteria can reduce disease in foliar tissues through the induction of a defense state known as induced systemic resistance (ISR). Compared with the large body of information on ISR in dicotyledonous plants, little is known about the mechanisms underlying rhizobacteria-induced resistance in cereal crops. Here, we demonstrate the ability of Pseudomonas fluo...
متن کاملTranscriptome Analysis Highlights Defense and Signaling Pathways Mediated by Rice pi21 Gene with Partial Resistance to Magnaporthe oryzae
Rice blast disease is one of the most destructive rice diseases worldwide. The pi21 gene confers partial and durable resistance to Magnaporthe oryzae. However, little is known regarding the molecular mechanisms of resistance mediated by the loss-of-function of Pi21. In this study, comparative transcriptome profiling of the Pi21-RNAi transgenic rice line and Nipponbare with M. oryzae infection a...
متن کاملExpression Analysis of Rice Defense-Related Genes in Turfgrass in Response to Magnaporthe grisea.
ABSTRACT Magnaporthe grisea (anamorph = Pyricularia grisea) causes blast on rice (Oryza sativa) and gray leaf spot on turfgrass. Gray leaf spot is a serious disease on St. Augustinegrass (Stenotaphrum secundatum), perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne), and tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea). Virulence assays performed in this study revealed that M. grisea collected from rice could also cause disea...
متن کاملFunctional Analysis and Expressional Characterization of Rice Ankyrin Repeat-Containing Protein, OsPIANK1, in Basal Defense against Magnaporthe oryzae Attack
The ankyrin repeat-containing protein gene OsPIANK1 (AK068021) in rice (Oryza sativa L.) was previously shown to be upregulated following infection with the rice leaf blight pathogen Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzae (Xoo). In this study, we further characterized the role of OsPIANK1 in basal defense against Magnaporthe oryzae (M.oryzae) by 5' deletion analysis of its promoter and overexpression of ...
